Abstract

Employees are a very important company asset to keep it well managed. Good employee management will maximize productivity. High productivity is caused by employees' physical and mental conditions at work, which are very good. This condition is vulnerable to several problems, namely role problems at work or role overload. In the end, this is what makes employees burnout. Burnout can cause employees to act outside the tasks that are their job responsibilities. One of them is the act of cyberloafing or using excessive internet access from their proper job responsibilities. The research population is BPR BKK employees in Semarang City. The sampling design used in this study was purposive sampling with a sample of 150 people. This data analysis uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) through the AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure) program. The results showed that role conflict, and role overload had a positive effect on employee burnout, role conflict and burnout had a positive effect on cyberloafing, and role overload had no effect on cyberloafing.
